Avataar is an upcoming Bollywood drama comedy film directed by Pahlaj Nihalani. It features Govinda and Shatrughan Sinha in the lead roles, along with Yashpal Sharma in a supporting role. The film also features Sunny Deol, who makes a special appearance.[1] The film was scheduled to be released on 25 December 2015.[2]

Production
The film's production commenced in 2012 at Mumbai. Govinda along with his other co-star Yashpal Sharma was spotted shooting in Mumbai streets.
Govinda has apparently lost 28 kg and also underwent a hair transplant for his role in the film. Govinda and Sunny Deol will be seen together for the first time.
Shatrughan Sinha and Govinda will be seen together after 25 years. They had worked as co-stars for the first time in Pahlaj Nihalani’s Ilzaam in 1986. Ilzaam was also the debut film of Govinda. They worked again next year and delivered splendid performances in Rakesh Roshan’s Khudgarz, a musical blockbuster. However their association failed in other films like Shiv Shakti (1988), Aakhri Baazi (1989) and Billoo Badshah (1989).
Release
Sinha and Govinda will be seen together after 25 years. Ilzaam was the debut film of Govinda. In January 2008 he decided to quit politics to concentrate on his acting career in Bollywood. "Fresh talent" eighteen-year-old Raika will debut opposite Govinda. Raika, who has yet to shoot most in the film, remained unavailable for comment.
