Austrian Paralympic Committee

The Austrian Paralympic Committee (NPC Austria) was founded in 1998 with the objective to enable qualified athletes to compete at the Paralympics. The main task of the Austrian Paralympic Committee is to support athletes with a visual or a physical disability at a high performance level and to enable them to participate at the Paralympic Games.

Since April 2009 the former Austrian Minister of Health, Youth and Family and former NPC Vice President Maria Rauch-Kallat was elected President. One of her main goals is to support Youth and Women with disabilities ever since.
