Aurel Percă (born August 15, 1951) is a Romanian cleric, auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Iaşi. Born in Săbăoani, Neamţ County, he graduated from high school there before entering the Roman Catholic Theological Institute of Iași in 1969. He graduated and was ordained a priest in 1979, being named assistant priest at a Bacău parish. In 1980 he was sent to Rome for further studies, and he took degrees in Eastern theology from the Pontifical Oriental Institute and in moral theology from the Alphonsian Academy. Returned to Romania in 1985, he became a professor of moral theology and patristics at the Iaşi seminary, of which he was rector from 1989 to 1994. In 1994 he was named vicar general of the archdiocese, while continuing to teach. In 1999 he became auxiliary bishop, being consecrated titular bishop of Mauriana in the new Iaşi cathedral.[1]
