The Brazilian luminous roughy, Aulotrachichthys atlanticus, is a slimehead from the Trachichthyidae family.[1] It is found in the southwestern Atlantic off the coasts of Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina at depths between 115m and 210m.[1] It can reach a maximum length of 10.3cm.[1]
