Attic War

In Greek mythology, the Attic War is the conflict between the Amazons and the Athenians, led by Theseus. The Amazons came to free Antiope from captivity; she was the sister of their dead queen, Hippolyta. Theseus had abducted Antiope during Heracles' ninth labor. The Attican forces were said to annihilate the Amazonian army and Antiope was killed during the battle. The Amazons were for retrieving the Hippolyte Belt from the Athenians since Herecules had been given it and it was the reason for the Ninth Labor. The reason why Theseus came to recapture Antiope because Herecules had rescued her from him and took her to Athens. The Amazon's seeking to retrieve the Hippolyte Belt and Antiope.
