Athetis reclusa is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It was described by Walker in 1862. It is found from Sundaland to New Caledonia and Fiji.[1] The habitat consists of open areas from sea level up to 1,200 meters.[2]
The wingspan is about 25 mm. The forewings are speckled pale brown with a dark brown smudge. The hindwings are off-white with dark veins.[3]
The larvae feed on the leaves of Brassica species, as well as Arachis hypogaea.
