Athara Hazari (Urdu: اٹهاره ہزارى‎), is a city and capital of Athara Hazari Tehsil situated on the Jhang-Bakhar Highway within the boundaries of the Jhang District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is about 5 kilometers from the Trimmu Barrage. To the north of the town, the rivers Jhelum and Chenab meet and the water flows down to the Trimmu Barrage. Athara Hazari has a police station to serve the local region. Hazari also has a NADRA office and ZTBL bank. Wheat, rice and sugarcane are the main crops of this area.
