Associação Limeirense de Basquete, also known as Winner/Kabum Limeira by sponsorship issues, is a Brazilian basketball team from Limeira, São Paulo, Brazil.

History

Winner Limeira was founded in 2001 with the intention of rescuing the basketball of Limeira and disputing state and national titles. In its first year, Limeira won the second division of state championship and the Regional Games. The following eight years Limeira won the Regional Games and won its first Brazilian championship, named Nossa Liga de Basquete, in 2006. In the first NBB season, in 2009, the team, formed by Nezinho dos Santos, Betinho Duarte, Shamell Stallworth, Guilherme Teichmann and Bruno Fiorotto, finished the championship in fifth place, after being defeated by Joinville. In the second NBB season, Limeira did not participate. In the following two seasons Limeira did similar campaigns, finishing in the ninth place.[1] In the 2014 Liga Sudamericana season, Limeira advanced from the preliminary round with two wins and one loss but won one out of three in the semifinals.[2]
