Assassin's Creed Identity an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft. It is the second mobile-exclusive game in the Assassin's Creed series to be released after Assassin's Creed Pirates, and the first on mobile to incorporate the third-person urban traversal-style gameplay as seen in the main console titles.[1] It was initially soft-launched in 2014 as a free-to-play game for New Zealand and Australian App Stores, with a worldwide release for iOS slated for 25 February 2016.

Gameplay

The game allows players to customize their assassin from four classes: the combat-orientated Berserker, the stealthy Shadow Blade, the jack-of-all-trades Trickster and the agile Thief.[2]

The game takes place during the Assassin's Creed II era and features locales such as the Colosseum in Rome.[2]

Development

Assassin's Creed Identity was developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte,[3] using the Unity game engine.[2] It was initially soft-launched for iOS in Australia and New Zealand in September 2014,[4] with a general worldwide release for iOS on 25 February 2016.[5]
