Asier Etxeandia
Asier Gómez Etxeandía (Bilbao, 27 June 1975) is a Spanish actor, whose career comprises television, theatre and cinema.
Biography
Asier Etxeandia made his studies of interpretation in a Biscayan school, of which only saves good memory of two professors, Eguzki Zubia and Juan Carlos Garaizabal. Recently it commented his starts, signalling that «when are 19 years old trust to the end in your teachers and sometimes are not qualified, but needed of your admiration. I believed in them and almost they go back me crazy. They play with personal things, is dangerous. I learnt a lot of what does not be necessary to do, of how does not be necessary to comport in this profession». The actor complained of the teachers that criticised to the students that went out in the TV. It agrees of a professor that cut the peel to a boy because it did not like him his performance. «They had us so sorbido the brain that were loved with that wonderful ritual» sentenced.[1]
Asier Etxeandia abandoned the Basque Country when establishing in Madrid with twenty years. In the capital worked like attendant of a sex shop while it made his studies of interpretation. It was to the program "One for all", (Telecinco) in 1995, presented by Goyo González, like concursante. The producing Globomedia hired him during the first season of A step forward, where embodied to Beni, a homosexual that ingresaba in an academy of Arts with the hope to turn into an actor. Asier abandoned the series because it feared a possible encasillamiento. In spite of everything recognised that his work in her opened him doors and know to his first friends in the capital, between them Natalia Millán.[2]
Natalia Millán thought in him to star the musical Nightclub offering him the paper of Teacher of Ceremonies, the attendant to comment ironically the events that take place in the Germany of the years 30 . In this setting worked also Manuel Flag and Emilio Alonso León. During the representation, Asier took out to members of the public chosen at random, to which put in difficulties on the stage. To be able to make his work, Asier contributed of the interpretation that carried out Joel Grey in the film to be able to do his own creation, without thus renounce to the character juguetón, badly intentional and capcioso of the character.
In cinema participated in "The embraces broken" of Pedro Almodóvar, doing a small paper of waiter invidente, that did not arrive to include in the final setting, but whose scene forms part of the additional contents of the film in DVD.
