Arnold Palacios

Arnold Indalecio Palacios (born August 22, 1955) is a Northern Mariana Islands politician and a member of the Republican Party.

Palacios is the current Speaker of the Northern Mariana Islands House of Representatives as of October 2009. He was sworn in on January 14, 2008, as the Speaker of the House's 16th Legislature.[1] He represents Election District 3 in the House, which encompasses portions of Saipan and the Northern Islands.[2]

Palacios was the running mate of gubernatorial candidate Heinz Hofschneider in the 2009 election. If elected, Palacios would have become the next Lieutenant Governor of the Northern Mariana Islands.

Palacios is married Wella Sablan Palacios.[2] The couple have four children - Arnold Gerard, Nicole, Tiana and Eric.[2]
