American singer Ariana Grande has released two studio albums, one compilation album, four extended plays, twenty-one singles (including four as a featured artist), two promotional singles and seventeen music videos. Grande first appeared on the track "Give It Up" for the soundtrack Victorious: Music from the Hit TV Show in August 2011. Two further soundtracks were released in 2012; Victorious 2.0 and Victorious 3.0, of which Grande appeared on both. After signing with Republic Records, she released her debut single, "Put Your Hearts Up", on December 12, 2011. The song was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The following year, she was featured on the Mika single, "Popular Song".
Grande made her debut on the US Billboard Hot 100 in April 2013 with "The Way", which features American rapper Mac Miller. It debuted at No. 10 on the chart and was later certified triple platinum by the RIAA.[1] Her debut studio album, Yours Truly was released on August 30, 2013, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with sales of 138,000 copies in its first week.[2] Two further singles were released from the album: "Baby I", and "Right There" featuring American rapper Big Sean. The album has sold over 500,000 copies in the US and is certified gold by the RIAA.[3] Her first EP, Christmas Kisses, was released on December 13, 2013.[4]
Grande's second studio album, My Everything, was released August 22, 2014, and became her second consecutive No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, selling 169,000 copies in its first week.[5] Its lead single, "Problem", featuring Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, later peaking at No. 2, and was certified sextuple platinum by the RIAA.[6] It also became her first No. 1 single on the UK Singles Chart.[7] The second single "Break Free", featuring Russian-German DJ Zedd, also achieved success, reaching the top ten in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United States. Her collaboration single with English singer Jessie J and Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj, "Bang Bang", managed to reach the top ten in the US, which made her the second lead female artist to have three top ten hits simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100.[8] "Bang Bang" also topped the UK Singles Chart, becoming Grande's second No. 1 in the country. The fourth single from My Everything was "Love Me Harder", featuring Canadian recording artist The Weeknd, which also reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 7, making her the only act to score four top 10 hits in 2014.[9] The fifth single from My Everything, "One Last Time", was released on February 10, 2015, and peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. All five singles from My Everything have been certified platinum or better by the RIAA.[10]
Grande's Christmas EP, Christmas Kisses, was later re-released in December 2014, one year after it was initially released, exclusive to Japan. The re-release featured one extra track, Grande's Christmas single "Santa Tell Me".[11] In June 2015, Grande released a remix album, titled The Remix, consisting of tracks from her two studio albums. She released another Christmas EP in 2015, Christmas & Chill.[12]
Grande's lead single "Focus" from her upcoming third album debuted at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first artist to have all lead singles from her first three albums debut in the top 10 on that chart.[13]
