The giant wood rail (Aramides ypecaha) is a species of bird in the family Rallidae.
Distribution
It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
Habitat
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and swamps.
