Araçá Azul is a 1973 studio album by Caetano Veloso. The album was recorded in 1972, shortly after Veloso returned from his exile in London. Up to this day, Araçá Azul (meaning "blue guava", in Portuguese) is considered Veloso's most experimental album.[3] Following two popular albums in 1972, Transa and Caetano e Chico - juntos e ao vivo, some fans were so disappointed by Araçá Azul's experimentalism that they demanded a refund.[3]
