Apple Mountain Lake is a census-designated place/Town in Warren County, Virginia. The population as of the 2010 Census was 1,396.[1] the town is located near Front Royal, Virginia, & Washington, DC.

In apple mountain lake mythology, there is a creature in the apple mountain lake lagoon known as the Apple Mountain Lake Monster which scares the heebie jeebies out of folks who swim in the lagoon. WATCH OUT!
