The yellow-throated apalis (Apalis thoracica flavigularis) is a bird in the Cisticolidae family. It is endemic to Malawi. Most taxonomists consider it to be a subspecies of the bar-throated apalis.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
