Anzhelika Tahir[1] is a Pakistani beauty pageant title holder and was crowned Miss Pakistan World 2015 on the 31st of October 2015. She also won the second runner up position at the 27th World Miss University 2016 pageant in China, a first for Pakistan. She is scheduled to compete in further pageants representing Pakistan.
Early life
Anzhelika Tahir,[2] is the first girl to be crowned Miss Pakistan World who belongs to a mixed race. Her mother is Ukrainian and her father belongs to Sheikupura, Punjab, Pakistan. Tahir grew up in Kiev, Ukraine and did her schooling there. She also graduated in fashion designing in Kiev, Ukraine. She further pursued her career as a television host in Ukraine. Tahir speaks Russian, Ukrainian, English and Urdu. She is a citizen of Pakistan as well as Ukraine.
Pageantry
Miss Pakistan World 2015
Anzhelika Tahir,[3] participated in the Miss Pakistan World[4] 2015 pageant and won the title, as well as won the subtitles of Miss Popularity and Miss Perfect 10.[5]
World Miss University 2016
Anzhelika Tahir, represented Pakistan in the World Miss University 2016 pageant[6] that took place in Beijing, China. Tahir is the first Pakistani winner of Miss Pakistan World to have come second runner up in the World Miss University 2016 pageant. Tahir also won, Miss Virtue and Miss Sincerity 2016 sub-titles at the 27th World Miss University 2016 pageant.
