Anu Anand (Tamil:அனு ஆனந்த்) is an Indian actress and playback singer.she works mainly in Tamil film industry. Public people addressed her as Mannargudiyin Thangamagal (Tamil:மன்னார்குடியின் தங்கமகள்). She did her music performance over 13 countries including South Africa, London, Malaysia, Singapore, and the USA. In stage shows she has sung duet with leading singers like S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, Mano, Unni Menon, Madhu Balakrishnan and so on. She was appreciated by music legends like T. M. Soundararajan and M.S.Viswanathan. Actors like Kamal Haasan, suriya, karthi are praises Anu for her singing.

Personal life

Anu Anand was born on 31 March 2000 in mannargudi. she is the daughter of Anand and Aasha. she has one elder sister. Now Anu Studying in Leo Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chennai earlier in Bharathidasan Matriculation school, Mannargudi.

Singing

Anu Anand was participated in TV reality shows. she was one of the top ten contestants in the third season of the reality-based singing competition Airtel Super Singer Junior in 2012. she also works in leading manual orchestra named as Lakshman Sruthi Orchestra. Her debut Filmsong is Enakkaaga Poranthaye which was composed by Justin Prabhakaran for Pannaiyarum Padminiyum movie.

Acting

Anu Anand also appeared in the movie Puthiyathor ulagam seivom directed by Nithyanandam.
