Anshel Pfeffer

Anshel Pfeffer is an Israeli journalist. As of 2014, he was a reporter for Haaretz, covering military, Jewish and international affairs.[1]

Personal life

Pfeffer was born in the city of Manchester in the United Kingdom.[2][3]

Career

Pfeffer has been a working journalist since 1997.[2]

The fact that Pfeffer is a British citizen has enabled Haaretz to send him to cover stories such as the 2011 Egyptian Revolution in countries that are reluctant to permit entry to Israelis.[2]

Prizes

Pfeffer's prize-winning column "Jerusalem & Babylon"[4] covers issues relating to Israel and to Jewish identity.[3][5]
