Anime Conji is an annual three day anime convention held during April at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in San Diego, California. The convention is run by SPJA (Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation), who are also responsible for Anime Expo.[3]
Programming
The convention typically offers anime screenings, AMV contest, an art show, artist alley, a dance, dealers, fashion show, gaming, karaoke, Maid Café, masquerade, and panels.[1]
History
This convention became part of SPJA in March 2012.[3] During the 2015 convention, NIS America held an Danganronpa based murder mystery.[2][5] Anime Conji 2016 was cancelled due to event quality concerns.[6]
