Anima persa (internationally released as The Forbidden Room and Lost Soul) is a 1977 Italian thriller film directed by Dino Risi.[2] It is based on the novel with the same name by Giovanni Arpino; it is the second film of Risi inspired by a novel written by Arpino after Profumo di donna.[3] The film was co-produced with France, where it was released as Âmes perdues.
