Angle Lake is a future Link Light Rail station in SeaTac, Washington. The elevated station is being built as part of the 200th Street Link Extension project, extending Central Link south from its terminus at SeaTac Airport to South 200th Street via a 1.6-mile-long (2.6 km) elevated guideway.[1] During the 2008 Sound Transit 2 campaign, Sound Transit indicated that the station would open in 2020. Sound Transit later obtained grants to accelerate construction, allowing for the opening of the station to be moved to late 2016.[2]

The station was originally referred to as the S 200th St station, and was named for the nearby lake in December 2012 by the Sound Transit Board.[3] Construction on the extension began in May 2013 and is expected to cost $383 million.[2][4]

Sound Transit projects a daily ridership of 5,400 by 2018.[2]

Location and station layout

The elevated alignment will be built along the east side of 28th Ave S in SeaTac, with the station straddling S. 200th Street. It will include a two- to four-story park-and-ride garage containing 630 spaces at S. 200th St & 28th Ave S., along with a bus transfer area and a kiss-and-ride drop-off facility.[2]

A 1,050-stall parking garage will be built to the northwest of the station.[1]
