Angika Region
Angika region is referred to parts of Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal wherein Angika language is spoken . It comprises the 22 districts of Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal States of India.[1]
- Northern and Eastern Bihar
- Katihar District, Purnia District, Kishanganj District, Araria District, Madhepura District, Saharsa District, Supaul District, Khagaria District, Begusarai, Bhagalpur District, Banka District, Munger District, Jamui District, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura.
- North-Eastern Jharkhand
- Sahebganj District, Godda District, Deoghar District, Pakur District, Dumka District, Giridih District and Jamtara District.
- West Bengal
- Malda District[2]
Angika, is the main language of communication of people of this area.[3]
