Career

From 1990 to 2011, Andy worked for National Mutual which later merged with AXA Asia Pacific,[3] in the end as its CEO.[4] In 2005, Andy Penn was one of seven directors of the AXA employee superannuation trust who were disqualified from acting as a company director by APRA,[5] but this ruling was overturned on appeal.[6][7]

After taking a 12-month break during 2011,[3] Thodey hired Penn as Telstra's CFO.[1][2][8] In February 2015, Andy Penn was named successor to David Thodey as CEO of Telstra, from 1 May 2015.[1][4][9]
