Andy Jick

Andy Jick is the public address announcer for the Boston College Eagles, announcing events at Conte Forum since 2001.[1] He had previously been the Boston Celtics PA announcer from 1980–1997.[2]

During tenure with the Celtics, Jick was the PA announcer during the NBA Finals 5 times. (1981, 1984, 1985, 1986, and 1987). He also holds the dinstinction of being the Celtics' final PA announcer at the Boston Garden and the first Celtics' announcer in Fleet Center. Before becoming the team's PA announcer, Jick worked 9 years for the team as a statistician and Wives' Room host.[3]

Since 2001, Jick has been the public address announcer for the Boston College Eagles men's basketball team.[4] He was the P.A. announcer during the 2003 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament for first-round games played in the FleetCenter.[5]
