Andrew Capra
Andrew Capra (Born September 16 in San Francisco), also known by stage name Andrew London is an American songwriter, session vocalist and composer. He is a lead singer and guitarist (as well as songwriter[1]) for Los Angeles rock band Brave Citizens who released a blog-buzzing EP[2] "Revolutions" in 2008 followed by a US tour and festival appearances.[3] Songs "How Much Longer?", "The Same Way" and "All or Not" were featured in a number of American television programs.
In late 2010 Capra began an album of new solo work under the "Andrew London" pseudonym, tapping guitarist Bruce Kulick, bassists Chris Chaney and Tony Franklin (musician), and drummer Miles McPherson to be the recording band.[4] The first single "Back To Old Street" was released October 21, 2013 on iTunes[5] and the album titled "Hard Light" was released digitally on May 6, 2014. The project now plays live as a full band.
Following California, Arizona and New York tour dates Andrew released single "American Summer" on July 14, 2015 on iTunes.
Capra writes and is also a session singer for other artists, film and commercials. The 2015 film Walt Before Mickey, starring Thomas Ian Nicholas and Jon Heder, included the song "Just a Wish", performed by American Idol finalist Julie Zorrilla and written by Capra, Rob Graves, and Jeremy Rubolino.
