Andrés Eduardo Pérez (born 9 September 1980, in Bogotá, Cundinamarca) is a Colombian football midfielder, who currently plays for Deportivo Cali in the Liga Postobón.
Career
Pérez started his career at Real Cartagena in 1999, then he played in Millonarios, team where he got the exit. He was transferred to Argentine club Quilmes where he spent one season before moving to San Lorenzo in 2005, he then moved to Arsenal de Sarandí in 2006 before returning to Deportivo Cali in 2007.
Deportivo Cali
He joined Deportivo Cali in 2009 and quickly became an important player for the club and a fan favorite. In 2010 he won the Copa Colombia he first title with the club.
He came runners-up in the 2013 Categoria Primera A season reaching the finals of the clausura tournament but unfortunately they fell to giants Atlético Nacional, but managed to grab the 2014 Superliga title as he and his team beat Nacional on penalty kicks. In the 2015 season, as captain of the team he was the undisputed leader of a very young side providing experience to the players as they reached the finals of the Apertura tournament and beat Medellín to claim Cali's ninth title, their first one in 10 years.
