Analog Man (instrument maker)
Analog Man LLC is a company that makes and modifies guitar effects pedals.
In 1995, the company, led by "Analog Mike" Piera, started modifying Ibanez Tube Screamer overdrive pedals to sound like the vintage ones which were used by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Johnson. Today, the company makes a range of modifications to existing pedals, and hand-builds their own chorus (Analog Man Bi-Chorus), compressor (Analog Man CompROSSor), fuzz (Analog Man Sunface), boosters (Analog Man Beano Boost), switchboxes, and distortion pedals.
Users of Analog Man's modified Tube Screamers have included Buckethead, Trey Anastasio, Tony Iommi, Metallica, Page Hamilton, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Scott Henderson, Jimmy Herring, J Mascis, Jack White, Dan Auerbach, Andy Powell, among many others.
