Amphisbaena silvestrii, also known as Silvestri's worm lizard, is a worm lizard species in the genus Amphisbaena.[1] This species is endemic to South America.
Etymology
The specific name, silvestrii, is in honor of Italian entomologist Filippo Silvestri.[2]
Geographic range
It is found in Bolivia (department of Santa Cruz), and also in Brazil (state of Mato Grosso).[1]
