The Amity Institute of Biotechnology (AIB) is part of Amity University, a private university in India. AIB was established in August 2001 and is situated in the Amity University campus in Noida.

Extracurricular activities

The institute's Undergraduate Youth Council (AUYC) has all the undergraduate students of AIB as its members. The council is the apex body at the institute level which is responsible for conducting the annual fest UROOJ. The committees of AUYC are Core Coordination Committee, Treasurer, Literary Committee, Technical Committee,Social Committee and Sports Committee, the most popular committee being the Literary Committee which also boasts of publishing the college's annual magazine "Biovignettes" whose editor-in-chief last was Samarth Bhargava.
