Amit Senchoudhary (born May 20, ?) is an Indian screenwriter best known for his work in several genres.

He has many credits to his name as a screenwriter in India and Indonesia. He wrote for the hit television series Baal Veer, Gumrah: End of Innocence, Ek Boond Ishq, Bhagonwali, Andai Ku Tahu, Mutiara Hati 1 & 2, Andai Ku Tahu amongst others.

Early life

Amit Senchoudhary was born in Secunderabad and raised in Gondia, India.

Career

Amit Senchoudhary, a qualified engineer, moved to Mumbai in 2000 to pursue his dream of becoming a screenwriter. After working as an assistant to various reputed directors, he joined India’s production house Balaji Telefilms as Executive Producer in 2002. After learning the nuances of television production and direction, he started writing for Indian television with a popular television series Tumhari Disha, Zee TV, followed by other shows. In 2005 his wrote his first Indonesian television series Mutiara Hati which became a cult show in Indonesian television.

Personal life

Amit Senchoudhary's father was an electrical engineer while his mother is a teacher who works with underprivileged street children. He is married to Genia Senchoudhary.
