American Gothic Press is an American comic book imprint of Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine. Established in the spring of 2015,[1] it focuses predominantly in the Kaiju,Sci-Fi, fantasy, and horror genres, reflecting Honorary Famous Monsters Editor-in-Chief Forrest J Ackerman’s love for all things monstrous and mysterious.
Publisher Philip Kim oversees the development of every new series, with Famous Monsters magazine Editor Holly Interlandi acting as general Editor for all titles.
American Gothic Press marks Famous Monsters' journey back to that creation of original characters and monsters of their own. With three new series released in early 2015,[2] and two more to debut later in the year, the imprint plans to keep the spirit of imaginative storytelling alive and well beyond the pages that an entertainment magazine can provide with a roster of top-notch talent from the comic book industry.
