Aluminium acetate or aluminium ethanoate[1] (also "aluminum ~"), sometimes abbreviated AlAc,[2] can refer to a number of different salts of aluminum with acetic acid.
Three such salts exist:
- Neutral aluminium triacetate, Al(C2H3O2)3
- Basic aluminium diacetate, HOAl(C2H3O2)2, also known as basic aluminium acetate
- Basic aluminium monoacetate, (HO)2AlC2H3O2
