Altitude Film Distribution
Altitude Film Distribution was launched in 2014, as part of The Altitude Film Entertainment Group.
The Altitude Film Entertainment group comprises Altitude Film Production led by Will Clarke chairman and joint-CEO with Andy Mayson; Altitude Film Sales with Managing Director, Mike Runagall; and Altitude Film Distribution with Head of Distribution, Hamish Moseley.
History
Altitude Film Distribution’s first release in 2014 was the acclaimed Oscar-winning documentary, 20 FEET FROM STARDOM which was followed by Sundance and Cannes Film Festival champion, FRUITVALE STATION as well as Abel Ferrara's headline grabbing, WELCOME TO NEW YORK. Most recently Altitude have released Ira Sachs' critically lauded LOVE IS STRANGE and a biopic film, AMY about the late British singer Amy Winehouse, directed by Asif Kapadia was released in cinemas on 3 July 2015 in the United Kingdom.

The 2015 releases include international espionage thriller, SPOOKS: THE GREATER GOOD, Asif Kapadia’s Amy Winehouse profile, AMY , from the creative team behind SENNA and BOLSHOI BABYLON, the latest film from MAN ON WIRE / SEARCHING FOR SUGARMAN producer Simon Chinn; a behind-the-scenes portrait of Moscow's world famous Bolshoi Theatre, rocked by internal intrigue and scandal.
