The Maluti Copper (Aloeides maluti) is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. It is found in South Africa, where it is mainly found in the high altitude alpine grassland in Lesotho, but also in neighbouring hills in the Orange Free State and the East Cape.
The wingspan is 21–26 mm for males and 23–27 mm for females. Adults are on wing from December to February. There is one generation per year.[2]
