Allstate NI is a company based in Belfast, Derry and Strabane in Northern Ireland.

Allstate NI specialises in delivering technology and business services to its parent company, Allstate. The company currently employs around 2300 workers with plans to develop further.

History

The company established its first office in Corporation Street, Belfast and started recruiting in early 1999. The company has since moved to its headquarters to a larger building in Lanyon Place, and has opened another office in Derry and a third office in Strabane. Allstate NI is Northern Ireland's largest and most successful IT company, winning numerous highly prestigious business awards at local and national level, including two Queen's Award for Enterprise.[1] for 'Best Enterprise and International Trade' in 2005 for 'Enterprise - Sustainable Development' in 2014. In 2005 the previous managing director, Bro McFerran was awarded a CBE in the Queen's birthday honours.

Allstate NI plays a strategic role in developing, transforming and maintaining the various technology platforms used within Allstate Enterprise by supporting its day-to-day business, looking after the different systems that you might expect in one of the world's largest insurance giants to run including Infrastructure Services, Business Process Management, Managed Services, Consultancy Specialist Services, Application Development & Integration and Application Maintenance.
