Allpamayu (Quechua allpa earth, mayu river,[1] "earth river", hispanicized spelling Alpamayo) which upstream is called Los Cedros (Spanish for "the cedars") is a river in Peru located in the Ancash Region, Huaylas Province, Santa Cruz District. It is a right tributary of the Santa River which flows to the Pacific Ocean.[2]

Allpamayu originates northwest of the mountain Alpamayo. Its direction is mainly to the west. The confluence with the Santa River is near the village Los Cedros.
