Aljaž Cotman (born 26 April 1994 in Kranj[1]) is a Slovenian football goalkeeper who plays for Maribor in the Slovenian PrvaLiga.[1] He was also a member of the Slovenian youth national teams.[2]
Career
Cotman started his career in his hometown club Triglav from Kranj.[1] He joined the youth ranks of English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2010,[1] signing a professional deal in 2012.[3] However, he did not make an appearance for the senior team before his contract expired and he returned to his homeland.[4]
On 21 October 2013, he joined the Slovenian champions Maribor.[2] He made his Maribor debut in a cup match against Šenčur on 13 November 2013, where his team won the game 5–2.[5] He made his fully professional debut in the Slovenian PrvaLiga on 17 May 2014 in a match against Gorica.[6]
International career
Cotman was capped for Slovenia at all youth levels from U15 to U21.[2]
