Alisson Ramses Becker (born 2 October 1992), simply known as Alisson, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for Internacional as a goalkeeper.

Club career

Born in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, Alisson joined Internacional's youth setup in 2002, aged ten.[1] After appearing regularly with the under-23s, he made his senior debut on 17 February 2013, starting in a 1–1 away draw against Cruzeiro-RS for the Campeonato Gaúcho championship.[2]

Alisson made his Série A debut on 25 August 2013, playing the full 90 minutes in a 3–3 home draw against Goiás.[3] A backup to his brother Muriel and disputing the second-choice with Agenor, he finished his first season with six appearances.

A backup to Dida in 2014, Alisson was named first-choice in October, finishing the year with 11 league matches.

International career

After representing Brazil at under-17 and under-20 levels, Alisson was called up to the main squad by manager Dunga for the first two matches of the 2018 World Cup qualification campaign against Chile and Venezuela.[4] He made his debut against the latter on 13 October, starting in a 3–1 win at the Castelão.[5]
