Alison Merrien
Alison Merrien MBE (born 28 November 1974) is an indoor bowls player from Saint Peter Port, Guernsey.
She has won eight world titles.
- Winning World Indoor Women's Singles Champion in 2009,[1] 2011 [1]
- Winning World Indoor Mixed Pairs Championship 2011 Alison Merrien MBE and Simon Skelton
- Winning WIBC Indoor Ladies champion in 2009, 2015
- Winning WIBC Indoor Mixed Pairs Championship in 2001, 2004
- Winning Women's World Champion of Champions Singles championship in 2007
- Winning Women's World Cup Singles championship in 2008, 2012.
- Winning British Isles Indoor Women's Singles Championship 2002, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2015[2]
- Winning British Isles Indoor Women's Pairs Championship 2015 [2]
Being awarded an MBE for services to bowls in the 2012 New Year Honours list.[3] Married to Ian who is also a successful bowls player.
