Mohamad Aliff Bin Aziz (born 16 February 1991),[1] better known by his stage name Aliff Aziz is a Malay mixed Arab ethnic Singaporean, currently based in Malaysia.^[1] He is managed under Sony Music BMG Malaysia. In July 2007, Aliff Aziz was crowned the winner of a reality TV singing competition, Anugerah, making him the youngest winner (won the title at the age of 16) of the show/competition. In September of that same year, Aliff Aziz releases his first self-titled album with best single Cinta Arjuna (Tong Hua cover) with 300,000 copies sold around Southeast Asia. His first single, "Sayang Sayang" receives the most number of ringtone downloads (1 million) across Southeast Asia.

In 2009, Aliff Aziz was enlisted to the compulsory National Service where he was an instructor at the Singapore Civil Defence Force (Formerly known as BRTC/Basic Rescue Training Centre) in Jalan Bahar.In a Sungguh interview in 2010,Aliff was posted to admin to allow him to focus more on his singing career.

During that same year, Aliff released his second album "Its Aliff's Time" with its hits single "Cinta" and "Kalau Cinta" featuring Malaysian songstress Joanna. "Kalau Cinta" topped the radio charts for a few months making it another record breaking song under Aliff's belt.

Acting career

Aliff Aziz acting career started when he was offered a major role in a musical comedy drama Antara kita.In that drama, he took the role as an actor and singer too, where he cover his own songs such as Sayang Sayang and Kosong by Najwa latiff.

Voice Attributes

In his initial stage of Anugerah competition,Aliff Aziz voice was criticised by many due to his poor breathing control.

It was reported,he took vocal learning course to improve on his vocal.

Apart from that,many local artiste find his voice very unique.

Aliff Aziz voice has been described by Hydir Idris (Singapore upcoming singer/songwriter) as "unique and soulful"

His voice was described by Siti Nordiana (Malaysian singer) as "very soft,soothing"during an interview regarding the collaboration of Tak Ada Cinta Sepertimu.
