Ali Safa-Sonboli (Persian: على صفا سنبلى, born November 20, 1932 Qaem Shahr, Mazandaran Province, Iran - deceased 2002 Iran) was an Iranian weightlifter. He participated at the 1958 Asian Games, in the Featherweight division, and at the 1957 World Weightlifting Championships, and the 1958 World Weightlifting Championships, in the Bantamweight division, and also at the 1960 Summer Olympics, in the Featherweight division. After retiring from championship weightlifting, he became an International Referee through The Asian Weightlifting Federation (AWF). He is survived by his two sons who currently live in the United States.

- Silver medal winner at the 1958 3rd Asian Games Tokyo, Japan.
- Bronze medal winner at the 1958 World Weightlifting Championship Stockholm, Sweden.
