Alfred Muller Simpson

Alfred Muller Simpson (1843–1917) was an Australian politician.

Simpson was born in London. He began his apprenticeship in his father's manufacturing firm, and became a partner in 1864. He married Catherine Allen on 18 October 1871. He was elected to the South Australian Legislative Council for the Central ward in June 1887. After the death of his first wife in 1887, he married Violet Laura Sheridan on 23 August 1888. He was a member of the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society and its president from 1898 to 1899. He died of cancer on 28 September 1917 survived by two sons and three daughters.[1]
