Alexandru Buligan (born April 22, 1960 in Drobeta-Turnu Severin) is a former Romanian handball player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics and in the 1992 Summer Olympics.
In 1984 he was a member of the Romanian handball team which won the bronze medal. He played all six matches as goalkeeper.
Eight years later he was part of the Romanian team which finished eighth. Also in this tournament he played all six matches as goalkeeper.
Buligan is the player with the most caps for the national team of Romania, 280.[1]
