Alex Mellor

Alex Mellor (born 1994) is a professional rugby league player who is currently contracted to the Bradford Bulls of Super League. Mellor has been involved in the Bulls scholarship system from the Under 15's.

Alex is a product of the Bradford Bulls Junior Development system. His favoured position is at second row however he can operate at loose forward.

2013 - 2013 Season

He featured in Round 20 (Warrington Wolves) and Round 27 (Huddersfield Giants).

2014 - 2014 Season

Mellor featured in the pre-season game against Hull FC.

He featured in Round 10 (Wigan Warriors) to Round 13 (Huddersfield Giants) then in Round 21 (Huddersfield Giants) to Round 23 (Leeds Rhinos). He played in Round 27 (London Broncos).

He signed a new 1 Year Deal with the Bulls despite their relegation to the Championship.

2015 - 2015 Season

Mellor featured in the pre-season friendlies against Castleford Tigers and Leeds Rhinos.

He featured in Round 1 (Leigh Centurions) to Round 4 (Hunslet Hawks) then in Round 9 (London Broncos) to Round 16 (Doncaster RLFC). Alex played in Qualifier 3 (Salford Red Devils) to Qualifier 4 (Widnes Vikings) then in Qualifier 7 (Halifax RLFC). Mellor played in the Challenge Cup in Round 5 (Hull KR).

Mid-way through the season Mellor signed a 2 Year Extension to his contract.

2016 - 2016 Season

Mellor featured in the pre-season friendlies against Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers. He scored against Castleford Tigers (1 try).

He featured in Round 2 (Whitehaven RLFC).
