Alberta Culture and Community Spirit
Alberta Culture and Community Spirit is a ministry of the Executive Council of Alberta. It was created in March 2008, and is responsible for culture, community development, the voluntary sector, museums and heritage sites.
Responsibility for Community Development was previously held by the Ministry of Community Development, and by the Ministry of Tourism, Parks and Recreation. On May 8, 2012, the Ministry's name was changed to Alberta Culture.
