Albert M. Bielawski

Albert M. Bielawski was a politician in the state of Michigan.

Biography

Bielawski was born on January 16, 1867 to Joseph and Teresa Bielawski in Germany in an ethnically Polish family.[1] Eventually he would move to the United States, living in Cudahy, Wisconsin and Gary, Indiana before moving to Hamtramck, Michigan and Detroit, Michigan. On June 12, 1894 he married Hattie Banaszynska.

Career

Bielawski was an unsuccessful candidate for the Republican primary for a seat in the Michigan State House of Representatives in 1926. He eventually would be elected, serving from 1929 to 1930 and from 1935 to 1936. He was an unsuccessful candidate in 1932 for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives from Michigan. He was an architect by trade.
