State Route 132 is an 17-mile-long (27 km) route in Blount County and Etowah County. The western terminus of the route is at its junction with State Route 75 north of downtown Oneonta. The eastern terminus of the route is at its junction with U.S. Highway 278 east of Walnut Grove.
Route description
SR-132 is a two-lane route in its entirety. Its main purpose is to lead motorists from Oneonta to Attalla and Gadsden without travelling via State Route 75 or U.S. Highway 231 and Interstate 59. It travels in a general northeastward trajectory as it leads from Oneonta as it leads through rural Blount County. Altoona is the only town the route passes through.
