Al Naqbi (Arabic: النقبي), (Plural:Al Naqbeyyeen or "النقبيين") is a name of a tribe in the United Arab Emirates in the emirates of Fujairah, Sharjah, and Ras al-Khaimah. Part of the tribe settled in Oman. Al Naqbi clan has originally lived in Ras al-Khaimah in Wadi Naqab (Arabic: وادي نقب). The clan is part of the old Ghaferi tribes (Arabic: القبائل الغافرية) that lived in Ras al-Khaimah. The Ghaferi tribes are also the descendents of the Khata'am tribe (Arabic: خثعم) part of the Banu Makhzum (Arabic: بني مخزوم) tribe which was one of the wealthy clans of Quraysh.
