Allen Dean Eberhard[1] (born May 10, 1952) is a retired American basketball player for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association. He was drafted with the fifteenth pick in the first round of the 1974 NBA Draft and played four seasons in the NBA for the Detroit Pistons, averaging 6.8 points per game and 3.5 rebounds per game in 220 career games.[2] He is also the uncle of former Indiana Hoosiers and current Charlotte Hornets basketball player Cody Zeller,[3] former North Carolina Tar Heels and current Boston Celtics player Tyler Zeller,[4] and former Notre Dame Fighting Irish and former Phoenix Suns player Luke Zeller.[5]
